The person replying to my messages was very polite and replaced one of the chairs that had a very wobbly leg. We were given chocolates and a bottle of wine to say sorry. The beds were all very hard. The curtains didn't close properly.
The dining area is covered by glass and it pored often during our stay..... The glass roof leaked in at least 3 different spots. Other people had done reviews talking about the tiles in the main bathroom being broken and dangerous. I thought surely it was over exaggerated or they are fixed by the time we got there. They were very dangerous and not fixed at all. The pool cues were mostly broken along with the felt on the table and ball return system. The dart boards darts were damaged and some missing. The spa pools buttons didn't work. The WiFi didn't reach half of the house.... A repeater couldn't hurt. The TV would not Chromecast. The shower heads were damaged and didn't work very well.

Beds were great and the place was very warm and comfortable. The spa pool was lovely and we enjoyed all of the other facilities.

Awesome place for the family kids really enjoyed the pool & spa also the gaming area and the setup of the castle. Really good for a lil family get away.

The castle really is a pretty unique stay, and great for some cool photos! The facilities at the castle were actually better than we expected, a really cool internal set-up with a range of rooms which are well spaced, themed decorations and fun activities such as the pool table and foosball table, alongside a great outdoor pool set-up with the spa.
We bought a lot of food for dinner, but the oven didn't work (would only work on grill, and even then - not very well) this ruined dinner plans and was a bit of a shame. The outside area such as the decking and gardens are also a little worn with broken planks etc. and it would be an even nicer place if it had a bit of a tidy up.
